                             What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique using a hand-held tool that inserts pigment into the top layer of the skin to create fuller and more defined brows. Microblading is ideal for people who have over-tweezed over the years, have uneven or asymmetrical brows, or have lost their brows due to health-related issues.

                                                           What is Microshading/Powder Brows?

Microshading/Powder Brows is another semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows.  A small tattoo machine is used to insert pigment into the upper dermal layer of skin. This technique will give clients a powder filled brow (very similar to the look of makeup) as opposed to the simulated hair method of Microblading. The tails of the brow will be darker, as well as the base line of the brow. The front or “bulb” of the brow as well at the lop line of the brow will be the lightest, giving the eyebrows a natural gradient effect.

What to Expect From Microblading or Microshading

Your First Appointment - 3hrs

We begin with a thorough consultation to discuss your brow goals & desired look.  Next, we carefully measure and draw the outline shape of your eyebrows, which are suitable to you specifically. Once you approve the shape, then and ONLY then we begin the treatment.

Once the treatment is complete, we provide detailed aftercare instructions & the aftercare products to care for your new brows. Your brows will look noticeably darker & slightly thicker immediately following your treatment and this will last 3 - 4 days. By day 7, brows will lighten up to 40%.
Healing Time: approximately 7 days.

6-8 Week Touch Up Appointment - 1- 1.5 hrs

Your first touch-up appointment will be scheduled for 4 - 8 weeks after your initial appointment. We will assess the healed results and will target faded areas.

Healing Time: approximately 7 days

12 -24 month Colour Boost/Touch Up Appointment - 2 hrs

We recommend annual colour boosts to refresh the colour and to keep your brows looking their best.

Healing Time: approximately 7 days

Pigment retention depends on several factors: ie. your skin type, skin care products used, exposure to the sun, current medications, and aftercare instructions followed.

*Important:External factors such as sun exposure & using exfoliating products will cause premature fading.

*Oily skins ar not suitable for Microblading as it will result in blurred hairstrokes once healed.  Microshading/Powder Brows are suggested.

                                                     What is Lip Blush

Lip blush is a semi-permanent tattoo procedure which enhances the natural shape of your lips. It adds symmetry and boosts the colour of your natural lips which usually results into a fuller looking shape. Lips do swell during treatment which may last several hours.

During this treatment, the lips are not actually restructured. The permanent makeup will simply give the illusion that the lips are fuller than they really are.

The Lip blush colour is more intense immediately following treatment, however the colour will fade

30-50% leaving you with the look of a beautiful tint /stain on your lips.

Healing Time: appoximately 5 - 7 days

You may require a touch up appointment 6-8 weeks after to fill in any areas where the pigment did not retain and/or if you wish to intensify the colour & shape.

*Results can last up to 2 years.
